Gas/oil mix ratio
Since I'm new to 2 cycle golf carts I just want to get a general opinion of whether it looks like I'm mixing ok or too lean. Its obviously not too rich because there's no oil on the electrode.

128:1. thats 1oz oil to 1gallon of gas. that is the standard mix on all ezgo 2 cycles.

Re: Gas/oil mix ratio
Yes that oil mix is perfect on that plug. You can tell because the oil or carbon line on the strap is level with the tip of the center electrode. When the flat surface just above the threads starts to tan you oil is lean.

Re: Gas/oil mix ratio
looks good but if you are runnning this thing for miles i would try about another 1/2 ounce of oil in a full tank. i ran mine at 40:1 when i did the rings and it sill ran like a champ. jsut depends on how you are abusing it lol

Re: Gas/oil mix ratio
If you use the cart for normal driving around,128:1(1oz./gal.) is fine.If you run it hard,Off-Road and ungoverned, run 1-1/2oz./gal. I ran mine like this for 4yrs. never hurt anything, plug burned perfect, and I would run wide-open for miles when we ride.Hope this helps.
