Try a Semi-Truck parts place. They have Acids for cleaning the Aluminum on Trailers and Trucks.ZEP makes one called "Zep-A-Lum",Awesome stuff, but you need to spray an area, scrub it,and rinse kinda quick,or it will burn it white. As mentioned before,Welding-Suppliers have one too,but a lot of them are diluted compared to the ZEP-stuff(Aluma-Prep is one,and its' weak).I've heard of guys using Muriatic-Acid,but never tried it.Also try a Auto-Detail/Body supplier, they should have High-Grade Aluminum Wheel-Cleaner.Hope this helps.

That looks beautiful Roady! Zep-A-Lume is another fantastic products - aluminum cleaner and brightener. Everyone take heed though... these aluminum cleaners can contain hydrofluoric acid which can burn your hands - wear gloves and don't breath fumes! Be safe..

I've used Aluma Bright on my boat docks. Works great.

I've been told Zep Alum is better.

I took one to a truck stop, and went to the truck wash. Told them what I wanted. 15 min. later I left with a clean frame. It cost $10.00 at that time.
