The neutral safety is already locked out. If you lift and spin it 180 it will lock the axle in neutral for maintenance.

01 Workhorse.. The vertical springs in front are the forward and reverse shift cables,
the throttle cable is hooked to the other spring/governor, then linkage to the carburetor. |

the governor on the axle is connected to the carburetor. Stovebolts picture shows it going to a rocker type of arm and then off to teh carb. if you dont want anything to do with the governor, just remove the bracket, etc off the top of the axle. that will leave a shaft exposed. i sealed mine off, and put a plastic cap over it so it didnt come back to scratch me later. mt thoughts were to make it simple. |
