Jacobsen 1110 Hauler
I just bought two Jacobsen 1110 Haulers. I would like to lift them so I can put larger tires under them. They are both 1997 models. The front axles appear to be identical, but the back axle mounting method is different between the two Haulers. One has a welded plate that is bolted to the spring. The other has what appears to be a aluminum housing that has a rubber bushing. I would like to lift up about 5". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Jacobsen 1110 Hauler
One way to do it..
The bottom plate, also the square tubing has to have holes in the middle to accept the alignment pin on the axle and alignment pin on the spring.. You will also need to trim the rubber bushing to clear the axle pin when you flip the housing, I do it with a bench grinder. |

Re: Jacobsen 1110 Hauler
Thanks for the help and pictures. What brand of lift kit did you use? I can only find Jakes brand from my limited search. Any thoughts on Jakes brand?

Re: Jacobsen 1110 Hauler
Not familiar with the 1110 Hauler, is the steering bolted on a plate welded to top of the front axle or on the firewall?
