The spewing may be from the electric fuel pump?

Electric fuel pump and float may not be set correctly? Why the electric anyway?

I took apart the pump and screwed up the gasket. The electric pump is temporary.

The needle/seat in that carb can't handle the pressure of an electric fuel pump.

I kind of figured that might be the case. Is the seat a removable part on these carbs or is it machined into the carb? When I had the carb apart I don't remember seeing anything that looked like a removable seat. As messed up as everything else is, I wouldn't be surprised if the seat was missing. Looked like the carb has been leaking for a long time.

Does anyone have a picture or diagram showing where the jets are located on the carb and maybe how they come out? Are the jets adjustable or do they just screw in until they bottom out?

I found carbs and pumps on shopezgo.com, is there a source for rebuild kits?

Thanks guys.
