ill wait for photos, and will give instructions for test if you want to test system. Testing good will verify your connections are correct in your cart and the hei,coil are working . Then pulsar is problem .If test fails,you have a problem with wiring or hei,coil,etc.

I could only figure out how to post one pic at a time. I am missing a muffler by the way. Least of my worries right now. May need to move the coil later.
I do have about 11.5 volts to the plug with engine turning. I believe all grounds are good also. I picked this up not running. Looks like someone may have had the battery cables hooked up reverse before I got it. Would this cause any damage? |

thanks for photos. White wire on start solenoid should be + on new ignition coil,Red wire on new ignition coil - should go to "c" on hei. cant tell from photo where they terminate. Every thing else appears good.
If they hook up battery wrong, could damage volt. reg.,ignitor.any gauges, etc. Let me know if you want to do test, i will provide instructions. |

If any of the ignition wires are shorted to ground, it won't fire. Check resistance between the red, and blue pulsar wires. It should be 70-150 ohms. (or close to it.) Then check each pulsar wire to ground. It should be an open circuit.
