Yamaha G9 Oil Level Sensor
I just recently bought a 1993 G9 golf cart and noticed a small hole in the dash of the cart. I got looking to see if it was equipped with a low oil light. From what I can tell it does but I don't see any loose wires that may have been used for the light. Would anyone have any idea where the low oil sensor would be located on the cart and what the wires may look like so I can put it back in place. It looks like the wires according to diagrams may follow the started switch to the gas peddle but I only see the Gas peddle sensor wires.
Thanks |

Re: Yamaha G9 Oil Level Sensor
G9's did not have an oil warning light in them, not that one can't be put in one but you will need to wire it up. You can use a stock sensor and light for a G2 and retro fit it in your car. The sensor hole is still in the bottom of the crankcase not far from the drain plug, it is just occupied with a dummy plug.

Re: Yamaha G9 Oil Level Sensor
Great thanks for the reply. I think I can do without. If it had come with it I would replace. Thanks again.
