If the pump is bypassed, it should be removed. The oil is what lubricates the pump. Since it has no oil feeding to it, it can't get lubricated.

Tightening the nut down on the governor screw will allow more speed. There is no torque control with the governor. That can be changed by adjusting the clutches.

If you want it, you can have it. Just pay shipping. Send me a PM.
You really don't want it though. There is no reason to have the pump and linkage if the injection is bypassed.

Thanks for the advice on the governor. It has a comet duster clutch on it already.

Here is a layout of the parts that should be removed.
Plug the injection port(where banjo fitting is) with a suitable bolt.

Just to give some updates. I removed all of the old off.

Then I went back and did some linkage adjustments and governor tuning in this area.

That area is very finicky. I have it 95% great. I still have a small throttle sticking issue. I have checked throttle cable, even lubed it, checked for any binding. My linkages are not too tight on carb, it seems too tight and it stuck more. If I go too tight it seems the throttle plate won't close fast enough or completely and will create a backfire. Still some fine tuning but it is doing alot better.

Also would that throttle return spring be the culprit?

I believe I have the linkage deal straightened out, for now. Thanks for the reply and offer.

One more crazy question. On the mikuni factory carb does any one have a visual of what every adjustment screw performs on the carb? Does one screw help the lean or richness of carb?
