Default Factory Headlight

Are these factory headlights, or add one? How do I tell if they are 12 or 35 volt? New to me 94 G8. Thanks.

Do you have a DVM?? If so check the voltage at the connections.

Try 12V to the bulbs if you can't see a voltage rating on them.

G8's did have a "factory" light kit available at the time. Those are "aftermarket" "buckets". I would bet alot that they are "H3" bulbs and the wireing would be to 2 6 volt batteries, positive and negative.
