Yamaha G9A Secondary
Hello
I have just picked up a G9A, going thought the cart I found some wear on the secondary. How much wear is too much? Thanks Wes |

Re: Yamaha G9A Secondary
Looks like the spring seat has been replaced with the newer style (more reliable) one. The wear in that spot is not really as big a deal as the surface where the belt rides, as long as it's not shredded by any past metal on metal contact. Looks like also has the super heavy spring, known to wear and break parts. If you end up doing a sliding sheave, I suggest getting a Umax spring instead.

Re: Yamaha G9A Secondary
Now looking at the clutch looks (feels) like I have end play. I am hung up on replacing with a Stock Yamaha or a plows man as I have read on here.
The suggestion of a U max spring should this effect my clutch options? Thanks Wes |
