I am using a Jake's 6 inch lift but I am going to raise front shock mounts to accept a 12 1/2 inch shock (like the rears) without causing camber issues.

I am using a 13 1/2 inch fully adjustable shock in rear. The cart sits nice and there is lots of travel.

Weld, try doing little tiny circles or zigzags to spread the weld on to both sides/pieces you are welding. Its usually easier to weld down hill also just don't go too fast you don't heat up the parts enough to penetrate or weld will pop off....thicker steel needs more heat.

If you you don't have gas (steel mix) I'd highly recommend it if your welder is capable.

Don't sweat the weld just clean it up a bit and make a pass on each side
( 1st pass down the middle, the make a pass on each side over passing the first weld slightly and the material being welded)

ty tried downhill and turned out better. For some reason welding uphill seemed right but of course wrong again lol. getting better at this gluing metal together its cool fun

I can add gas for shielded mig welding but since I am currently only working with 10ga and 3/16 the .35 flux wire is working great

Front top shock mounts successfully relocated and just need finish weld. I am very happy with the camber and adjust-ability using top shock mounts from Jake's 6" lift kit. I ordered the 320mm front shocks in blue to match my 340mm rears. Should add insane adjust-ability to lift and camber.
