G9 smoking
A buddy of mine bought a g9 golf cart that is smoking has anyone had experience with one smoking the motor runs great and has good compression just smokes could valve stem seals be the culprit

More likley worn out oil rings. Is there oil in the air box?

Smallblock is right usually rings are shot the oil ring goes first. Could be overfilled oil you should change it and put one quart in and see. If rings you can hone and ring or rebuild or swap the motor. Mine ran great and started smoking, I put a clone in it. It was much cheaper than a rebuilt short block at the dealer (carry out, with trade in) was the funny part and I got a brand new engine with more power. Sure it was a project but well worth it for my uses.

Thanks for the replies I've never seen one smoke like this one and not foul out the plug and still make as much power as it does. My buddy bought it gambling on a simple fix wich would still be a good deal even after the rebuild
