G1 does not make a sound when trying to start
I just purchased what I am pretty sure is a G1. I can not find the S/N. I replaced the battery and spark plug, cleaned the fuel tank, ran new fuel lines and filter, checked the 2 fuses that are located near the solinoids. Tried to start it and I get nothing. No clicking, nothing. Don't know a lot about hem. Any suggestions.

check and clean all cables from battery to starter and starter to solenoids.

That you arent getting either the F or R solenoids to click may mean a bad stop switch (by the accelerator pedal) or key switch. You can jump the large terminals on one of the solenoids to test.
