Default Part Id Yamaha G14

Noticed this part under the air filter assembly. It currently does not have a nut on the other end. I could not locate it in any diagrams i currently have.

The engine tensioner cable and yours needs some slack taken out.

Yeah and if its loose or missing it will tear up your motor mounts really quick. Ask me how I know.

I think the nuts are regular M6-1.0, and there should be 2 of them

You might want to put those threads to a wire wheel and clean them up nice. I used a dab of blue locktite when I put mine together. Had to retighten it after a few good pulls as it was new and stretched a little. That assembly for my cart was the price of two motor mounts.

Anyone have a pic of what it should look like? I take it a nut on both sides?

My G1 set up looks very similar and has both nuts on the same side with a gap of 0.5mm between the two washers one rubber one steel. You may want to verify for the G14 application before proceding.
