Default Tomberlin 48 to 12 converter question

2009 48 SS .... just purchased has new batteries, new converter. Converter is hot even while setting over night. There is no battery drain, all lights front and rear have no power.. the converter is new, whoever connected it they did come thing I don’t understand. The black wire on the HIGH side IN is not connected to anything.. does anyone know why or a reason why

When the converter is hot over night it seems the auxiliary contactor won't shut off. You should hear the click when switching on/off. May go from there...
