Lithium and plumbquick bandit
With all the experts out there im sure someone has some experience with this. I have a EZGO TXT 48v. 2016 with stock motor and controller. The batteries were at the the end of life so went the $$$ route and upgraded to a 103Ah lithium solution which is working fine. Next possible upgrade was to do the plumbquick bandit upgrade but had information that plumbquick recommends 130Ah for good runtime. Wondered if anyone else Is using lithium and the bandit upgrade with less than 130Ah battery pack and if there is a big difference in run time?

My RoyPw lithium pack has a 200 amp peak draw limit, which is fine for a stock controller, but if you plan to upgrade your controller in the future you'll need to make sure that you buy a more "high performance" lithium pack that supports the higher peak draw. BigBattery and ExtremeTeam have 350 peak draw units. https://bigbattery.com/products/48v-hsky/ https://www.extremeteamcarts.com/pro...ory/batteries/ Other brands offer more peak for more $$$, but again, if your controller is stock, you shouldn't need it as it is limiting your peak amp draw. |

This guy does plum quick, aftermarket controller set to 250 amp peak, and RoyPow battery. No issues. |
