Gas Club Car top speed
I was looking and searching, but havent came up with anything. Could somebody tell me what would be top speed on a Precedent gas club car (stock)
No matter what the speed is , is there a cheap way to speed up a little more and how much faster would it be? Also What would be the fastest stock cart to buy? Thanks Lonnie |

I can't help with the CC details.
But I bought a 92 EZGo gas, 4 stroke, cart recently. Looks pretty stock to me. It was able to go about 15 mph. I looked around in this forum & found some details about how to tweek the governor on it, which was essentially just turning a screw on the end of the governor linkage cable. Now I get 23 mph out of it. Outran one of the neighbor kids in her cart yesterday. Was pretty funny to see an 11 yr old girl get pissed off because she was losing.  |

i have the governor ziptied and i hit 24 on my 04 precedent with 22" tires

top speed is 12 to 14 mph.......can you make it faster yes but if you start playing with the gov. yourtaking chances on engine damage.............................

my buddy put a 440 sled motor in his..the cart started to shake at 50mph..clocked it on open road doin 78mph..scary , very scary
