Re: Help!!! Bent Frame
Hey olnsnz, I combined two frames together to repair the cancer it had, It was not worth rebending or heating the frame to repair the cancer damage. I also repaired someone else rusted areas on there frame. Look around for extra frame in your area you might get lucky, like me.
P.S. On this kind of repair remember drive with TLC, No jumping ramps!! Good luck and try to replace the frame when can....Its better to be safe then sorry. |

Re: Help!!! Bent Frame
Keep in mind we are talking about a bent frame, not a rusted frame.
Big difference in straightening a structurally sound frame and a weak rusted frame. Also sounds more like a bend and not a buckle where all that is needed is someone that knows how to secure it safely and has the proper setup to do it safely. It's all about controling the pull. I've seen chains and cables break, It's not pretty and it's not worth it. |

Re: Help!!! Bent Frame
I have straighten a front end tubes using a 8 ton pump jack
Just be careful use good equipment & position them safely Use hard wood piece not to bend the pressure point where jack is leaning against |
