G14 ???
i just recantly puchased a 95 yamaha g14 it looks just like a g16 what are the differences in them i ordered a jakes 6 inch lift kit but its for a g16 will it still fit or do i need to send it back and get the right lift for it any help will be much appricaited thanks

It will work great. Remember to post in the for sale section "used g14 lower control arms" as long as the holes aren't "elongated" for the bushings, you could recoupe some cash and help someone else out. Good luck on your project.

i want drive this cart on the trails and its very mountainis where im from so i need to get as much power out of this on a budget i have after buying the cart on 11-16-09 and buying the jakes 6 inch lift kit and headlight kit on the 17th i only have about another $250 to spend how can i get some more powa this is my g14 taken with my cell phone not great quility

Looks like a clean cart. I would make sure to get the Jake's torque spring kit for the rear clutch. Best upgrade you can do for the money. Then disconnect the gov. just be careful at higher rpm, don't float the valves.

the g14 has the 301cc motor set up similer to a g9, but with the spicer rear end. i think... g16 has a 300cc motor were the cylinder is on a 45 degree angle or so, with a differtent muffler and air intake setup, but the same rear end i think. body on the 2 carts is very similer.
those are some differnces |

thanks it is really clean i only paid 1000 bucks for it where can i get the torque kit cheap thanks for the info sabercat i have big plans for this cart

Buy from the sponsors here, CartsPartsPlus or Jakes. I've tried some "others" and after installing, had to take them out. Don't "cheap out", it will be the worst money you threw away.
