need help how to isolate 2 6v to put on 12v charger
Have a late 90's EZGO TXT 36v that the charger will not respond when
plugged in. Was working fine last summer. Charged twice last winter - probably not enough. From the post I see seems like I should try to juice up these batteries. Do I take 2 out of the series hook up neg to neg and pos to pos then hook 12v charger like normal? Thanks for your help. Mike :-) |

NOPE Inspect the pack, notice the batteries are connected pos to neg in 'series'
Pic any 2 that are connected pos to neg and connect a 12v charger at a pos on 1 and a neg on the other..... check it out with your voltmeter... you will see it is 12v (or supposed to be) This way. No need to disconnect or remove anything..... My next post will have pics |

Re: need help how to isolate 2 6v to put on 12v charger
Hey guys, I had the same problem as Mikie... charger would not kick on after sitting a few months. I used a 12v charger and charged up the pairs and now the 36v charger works fine. Thanks for the help!!
