Default 96 CC will not turn over

I have 2- 1996 CC's. One will not turn over. Battery is good, I have swapped out with the good car both the solinoid & starter. Checked the ground wires. The solinoid clicks when you step on the gas peddle. Any ideas on what to check next would be much appreciated!

With your test light, see if the motor has a good ground connection?

Check your micro switches I had the same problem and it turn out my switch by F/R shifter was bad. Also changed the one in the black box just to be safe.

The ground to the motor is good, i dont think its the switches - as far as i can tell they are working. When i step on the gas pedal, i you can hear the solinoid click, i have juice going through it and i have juice back to the starter.

The only thing i can find that is different from my other cart that works is that the yellow wire going to the back of the starter - when i step on the gas pedal, on the good cart the light comes on very bright and goes out right away. When i do the same test on the cart that wont start, the light on the tester just glows with a faint light.

Take one half of a set of jumper cables and put one clamp one the starter/gen case and the other end on the neg side of the battery and try it.

If that doesn't work for you you need to look really closely at your positive cables from your battery to the solenoid then to your st/gen.
Check all ends for corrosion or loose ends. Corrosion will give you a 12V reading on a meter but will not allow the amps needed to turn the starter.

After that just for fun, try using your jumper cable from the battery pos post to the pos side of the solenoid, try it again.
Then jump it from the gen side of the solenoid to the gen where it connects.
you are Just bypassing the cables here to check for hidden amp resistance.
