Got it We have also used a stainless "L" bracket to mount the switch.

Don't know where we got them from, but I assume they were from some older top kits? I like trimming the cover the best, as adding some protection to the buss bars can only insurance! You can re-drill and tap the two top holes to mount the modified cover a little higher...

This cable on top of the battery pack, to the controller and motor.

Here's what I got. Trimmed up the controller cover to allow the cables in and out, it is now more of a bracket than a cover.

I have to get in there with some wire ties and clean it all up a little.

i have seen covers come in with spacers between the cover and the heat sink to give space for the bigger cables. The spacers were the same spacers that are used on the top bolts for the frt struts - roof support.
