Default help identifying ezgo cart

could some one please help me identify the type cart this is. it is an ez go 36 volt electric cart. I purchased recently at an auction & previous owner had no useful info. the pictures shown are of front right of cart, battery pack and motor set up, accelerator resistor and front of vehicle. the charger is mounted on vehicle and says it was manufactured in 09/87 the wiring is in disrepair so if anyone has a wiring diagram that you could send it would be greatly appreciated.

I use a 94 model at work, not sure of a wiring diagram for ya, but looking at the pics it seems to be pretty much intact. Is there voltage across the pack? Does the onboard charger in the pass area still work. I would check these things first to see where you are at first.

BTW

Welcome !!!

thanx for info. yes i get full power across pack & the charger is working fine. I also did a motor test to be sure it was worth the effort and it all seems to be a go. I mainly need info on wiring diagram to make sure im not missing any intricate parts such as a solenoid or micro switch

the wiring is not hooked up correctly. there seems to be some shade tree wiring done on the accelerator area and switch has been removed.

Post up some pics of the area you are describing, I am sure some others will give some ideas, if not a wiring diagram, ( I will look for one). I can tell you that there should be a plate mounted on the diamond plate on the drivers side that will give you the model number unless it has been removed. I will take my camera with me on Sunday to work and take pics so you can at least compare, even though the two machines are different. Good luck

Reminds me of the E-Z-GO/Cushman Titan model. The pic you posted of the accel is pretty good. that 5 spade accel switch is "neat" ...... lol

not sure what the rule is on posting links to non-sponsers, but hopefully I don't get slapped too hard for this.....

That should be the accel switch used in that cart, and they even identify the terminals on it for you in the description.

Rabbit, that is the correct switch and the info posted with it is very helpful. Thank you very much. That actually puts me one step closer to getting this cart on the road. Now if I just had a little more wiring info I could be well on my way to making my daughter very happy. She has already claimed this cart as hers.
