New EZGO Fleet Car
I am sure most of you know about this, but I thought it might be some interesting reading for some of you. It will be interesting to see this unit once it starts coming off the leases.

Re: New EZGO Fleet Car
I'm betting they are using the Curtis 1268 controller in those. When they introduced that controller in the MPT-1000E, we were told to expect to see it appear in alot more vehicles in the years to come.
What truely gets me laughing is that E-Z-GO has gone to a 8 volt battery configuration after so many years of them telling customers that it was less efficient than the 6 volt configuration. That's gonna require some smooth talking on the part of their sales staff that were constantly putting down Club Car's running 8 volt batteries. Basically it's a TXT with a controller and solenoid change. I personally prefer the ones we built when I worked in the Central Florida Branch that we were told to discontinue production of. They use the series wound motor with the long body 48 volt controller from a Shuttle 6 and were actually pretty stable platforms. |
