02 or 03 EZGO series vs. PDS
newbie to the cart game here looking for some info on an 02 or 03 cart. I have tried to educate myself before I pull the trigger and have a Q regarding Series cart vs. PDS. A local reseller is offering some 02 and 03's for sale.
From what I can tell for those years carts the speed control is either Series or PDS. Is one preferred over the other? Is one preferred when it comes to modifications down the road? Is it right you can tell the diff. between the two by the location of the reverse switch.? My plans for the cart over time will be to add wheels and tire, maybe a lift, upgrade the controller etc. Actually knowing me, I will probably go thru the entire cart with add ons and upgrades. Gotta spend my money on something, right. any info is appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: 02 or 03 EZGO series vs. PDS
it is cheaper to modify a series cart instead of a pds. If you are gonna lift than go series. PDS has issues with big wheels and tires.
you are correct the pds has the fnr switch on the dash as teh series has teh f-n-r behind right leg. |
