steering problem......

Hey on my 1988 clubcar when I bought it the steering was great but now when I stear its becoming increasing hard like sometimes itll steer nicely right but not left or vice versa but if i run through a puddle or alot of water the steering seems to work fine for awhile and then later the same thing it starts to lock up. What could be my problem? are there grease nipples somewhere ??

There are several grease nipples under there, get down and look around. Don't go nuts with the
grease gun though, a couple pf pumps on each should get the new grease to displace the old muck. You should also consider jacking up the whole front end and checking for ball joint and kingpin wear.
