2005 Club Car Precedent Speed Upgrade Questions
I have a 2005 Club Car Precedent that is completely stock. The only thing I have done is put a zip tie on the governer spring and was able to get a little more speed out of it. I am planning on leaving it stock height but I am going to put on 12" wheels with low profile tires. I am looking to speed up this thing as much as possible without putting a small block conversion in it. I don't want to do something to it that would raise the rpm's at lower speeds though. I tryed putting in a torque spring kit and it raised my rpm's at cruising speeds. I really was disapointed with the spring kit and took it off immediately. What I really want is an increase in throttle response and take off and a little more top end speed without raising my rpm's at lower speeds. What would you recommend for modifications?

Have drive clutch machined, shave the head, bore the block, (maybe install timing advance key)
