Re: carryall lift
Check / Change the gear oil - we use 80/90 weight gear oil. Curious if you checked the carb. I can't tell you how many Club Cars I have seen without the carb butterfly.

Re: carryall lift
No. But since you put it like that....I'll check it tomorrow. Thanks.
I PUT A 'TINY TACH' ON AND DISCONNECTED THE GROUND WIRE ON THE REV LIMITER. Gps said it went 18mph with the rev limiter cutting out at 3400 rpm on 22" tires. Now at 4500 rpm she is going 25 mph on same tires. Cool thing is it does it up and down hills. Whoohoo. |

Re: carryall lift
Sounds like a problem with the shifting mechanism inside your transaxle...possible a broken bearing. I have one that had the same noise and that is what I found. I ordered parts from golfcartpartsdirect.com

get one of these pumps to change the oil easily...about $12.00 at West Marine...Walmart has them for about $7.00....the pump is used to change the fluid on a boats outdrive.... The tube at the bottom goes into the white pump...the tube and pump are screwed onto the the lube bottle...the black tip goes in to the tranny....PUMP AWAY!!
