Default 98 club car quit need help

i have not moved the cart in a few weeks went to back it up and it started fine then i stopped for a second then it wouldnt start it was making noise from the black box under the seat were the solenoid is then it quit and now it will not do anything how do i tell if it is the solenoid or micro switch also checked the battery has 13 volts thanks

Do the micro switches Click when you push them in?If they dont then then they are burnt.

Had the same thing happend to me, changed solenoid did not make a diffrence, I would check to see your connections from battary to starter/alt. with my 96 club car it was the starter/alt that was bad, you might want to have it tested out.

yea i would start by checking the battery connections. i had a similar problem and i fixed it just by cleaning up my battery posts

side post batteries are known to eat cable ends!
