Re: Hour meter installation
I read the instructions several times and youtube.com has several application teachings. I think you can do it by taking your time and patients. What's neat is you can install and remove and reinstall several times. I found the camo kits too shinny the woods, so I'm air brushing and clear coating mine with a satin clear coat. It's what works for Louisiana turkey hunting.

Re: Hour meter installation
One of the problems with painting on the plastic golf cart is that the plastic can flex. If you have a paint or clear coat that won't flex then it will crack. If the paint is thin enough you will probably be alright. But heaver applications will need a flex agent added. Now Fusion is a plastic paint and will have quite a bit of "flex". But I am no painter so take this post with a grain of salt and get the scoop from an expert.

Re: Hour meter installation
Thanks Texas001 for the info. That was my first response too. I think we got that covered. There's a shop that specializes in painting plastics and camouflage. They stand behind their workmanship. If that doesn't work for me I'll try the dipping process. Now, I got so much iron protecting this thing it's going to take a collision to bend the plastic.

Re: Hour meter installation
I got the tach. But the wire is shorter than I liked. I ran all my lights and power down past the fuel tank, under the driver, and up into left side of the consel. How did others run the wire for the tach. And pictures please ;) I'm more than a little slow this AM. And the mount point on the dash.
