I ran 3/4" plastic conduit underneath to protect the wires when I am out playing in the woods this summer.

That is a good idea. Best this about PVC is working with it. You surely can "cut and paste". The electrical PVC has some nice 90 degree pieces so you can run wires thru it easily.

Great looking set up. Your rig almost (I say almost) makes me wish it snowed here. I would have to build the same kind of snow plow set up. But we get snow every 10 years of so and this week is one of those years. Might just get a light dusting of 1/2 inch or so. MAYBE!

Yeah, I have seen that stuff and it is on a lot of cars and trucks. It is in various thicknesses and I can look for the real tough stuff at an auto parts store were I can handle it. I want something that is tough enough to handle any brush I might run over at the ranch and other off road areas. Now I am waiting on my voltmeter and warmer weather. We had 18 degrees last night and didn't get above 30 degrees today. Now I know that is not cold to some of you guys up in Kansas and parts north but it is cold for us in south Texas. Same forecast for tomorrow but warmer by Sunday and next week. I get the job done then.
