88 spicer rear end
How do you replace the pinion bearing ? I think thats what is causing my rear end to lock up ? I took tke cover plate off and all the gears look good but I can see thepinion gear gets a little off and not meshing well with the ring gaer . Has anybody had this problem ? When driving you can go real slow and let off the gas it then locks up real hard.

Re: 88 spicer rear end
No the oil was pretty black though . I did manage to get the pinion nut off and the outer bearing parts fell in the floor . I found that its bad so im gonna replace all rear end bearings . As soon as I figure out how to get the axels out . From what I cansee I got to take the punkin out to slide the pinion out the back .
