Default Club Car Performance

Ok, so I am looking to buy a Club Car for the beach, and I am thinking it is going to be a gas cart. I know tire size, tire inflation and all that techy stuff adds to top speed. I am wandering what can be done to a stocker to get it up to 25-30 mph... I know with an electric cart, just buy a PQ Red motor, but being as I would have no way to charge one at the beach ( condo with no external power ) I gotta go gas. Not wanting to get into swapping out engines and stuff, soooooooooooooooo, anyone?

you can tweak the clutch, get a kit for it, you can mess with the gov but be careful or you will over rev and blow it up.....I lengthened the brass bar on the gas pedal, put a kit on the clutch and mine goes plenty fast for the beach, and I have 8" wheels....we run ours up and down rock roads and logging trails on our farm and you can rarely run it full speed

I saw one advertised on youtube for sale, and the guy said it was the stock engine, but was tuned to 17 hp. Wonder what they did... I tried to email the guy, but no reply...

What about the cart is stock? Regeared and rebuilt motor is far from stock. My carryall on 27's barely gets 25 and I have the 350 in it.
