Question blowing crank seals out of case

hey,got my 83 ezgo going,had a bad coil.drove it about 30 min. an it blew the front seal out of the case,put it back in with thread lock,drove it about 30 min.again an it blew the back seal out of the casing,what is causing this?the guy i got it from just replaced the top end and bottom bearings-new seals an gaskets.is there a presure release on the motor somewhere?or do i just need to thread lock the back 1 an try it again?thanks for any help.

It is probably just a question of 28 years of wear have loosened yo the mating face a little. If you think of the construction of the crankcase the seal is going to be the weakest spot. When I rebuild my 86 I just tapped the seals in and after 2.5 hours engine time I popped the rear seal. When I replaced them both last summer I used Loctite blue bearing seal and so far all is good.

I failed to use locktight the first time I replaced the seals. Guess what I had to do last week.... Seems to be fine now, good advise to follow.

well i got the seals thread locked an put back in,drove it about 2 hrs an it did fine,thanks guys for your help.
