Shell Rotella T6 in FE350?
Hi all,
I have been running Shell Rotella T6 full synthetic 5W-40 oil in my atv's for a number of years. It is a highly respected oil in the moto-sport crowd. I am just wondering if it makes any sense to run it in the FE350? I know the manual says to run SAE 30 or 10W-30 conventional motor oil. I prefer to run synthetic in my engines (except for the 1948 Ford tractor ) because I feel the lubrication is better. Anyone want to offer an opinion on this? All are welcome. Ed |

I use Mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30 in my FE350, and Mobil 1 synthetic 80w-90 in my trans-axle.

I use non-synthetic Rotella in every engine I have and I have a quite a few including a Harley. Liquid cooled, air cooled, it don't matter. Rotella exceeds manufacturers specs.

I like Royal Purple myself. I use it in everything I have.
