Default 88' Metal in Cases?????

Customer brought in a 1988 Club Car Gas and he changed the oil and found a chunk of metal in so I opened up side cover and there was alot more in there. Big pieces too! Almost looks like a bearing cage ? I cannot figure out where it came from though. Banged rod a little and was still running. Also piston skirt is broke and cylinder is wore and needs boring. I will post pics soon, but thought someone out there may have had this happen in the past?

thanks

Picture 1 looks like a Chihuahua skull. Maybe the airbox sucked in a small dog ? Whatever Rose, that all looks like tin plate and not engine internal parts. I have no idea given the scale of the pictures.

I've heard that the KF82 engines always seem to throw the Oil Slinger,
Yet, I've never seen any actual damaged pics of it.
Could it be the oil slinger?

Oil slinger is still attached and this is alot of thick metal that I cannot figure out where it came from. Its almost like somebody overlooked it on a past build? (Hope thats not right)?? It has tabs almost like a bearing cage? Customer wants to bore and rebuild so fingers are crossed
