92 cc help
I have a dieseling problem with my cart still and I was noticing the carb isnt closing fully when I let off the gas. I think the problem is the little spring on top of the carb that closes the butterfly. It does not seem to have enough tension to close the carb all the way. There seems to be enough slack in the cable just not enough tension to close it. Is this possibly the reason for my dieseling or am I crazy? And if it is the problem how do I fix it?

Re: 92 cc help
The things that cause this problem are. Broken or missing return spring on top of carburetor not pulling shaft closed. Idle speed adjustment screw on top of carburetor screwed too far in and keeping throttle from closing. Cable from governor too short and not allowing butterfly to go close. Twisted or broken throttle shaft. Screw missing from the butterfly that holds it onto the shaft. Usually the screw problem winds up on the head of the piston making a horrible noise.
