Reverse but no forward
2001 CC DS we were out for a stroll went up a pretty steep hill, stopped, and had to go down part way and push it to get it going again. Once we made it to the top we stopped and after we went to leave again no go. I messed with the switch and got the reverse back but no forward. It has done this for the reverse before but with a few wiggles of the switch cables and it fixed itself. Any ideas on what it is or how to fix?

Hey Scottyb I will be replacing everything shortly with the kit you quoted me not to long ago, but is there anything I can do for it until then? Thanks for the advice. Also just to understand why do you think it has it done this? Overheated, etc?
