Default Need fuel lid and hardware for G2

Does anyone have or know where i can get the fuel cover for my G2 ? I ordered the plastic lid but now i realize i need the hinge or hardware for the lid to work. Any help or advice much appreciated.

The fuel door lid Part# j55-k8272-00-00 has the hinge on it (bad desighn) retail-10.35. The special nut/retainers part#j38-78276-00-00 retail-2.87 each and the screws are part#98517-04012-00 retail-1.49 each.

Small bolts and washers work for the hinge also. As smallblock said its a very bad setup.

They all break off, on the other hand I put a new one on mine many years ago and its fine yet. And you can get water in the gas through that vent in the cap, found that out once when I tried to ride in the snow. Had to put a bunch of drygas in it.
