Default Can you remove the side rocker panels?

I was wondering if you can remove the panel that goes from front wheel well to the back wheel well. on a 1990 yamaha g2. Its the part on the side of the floor. It looks like you can, but I wasn't sure exactly how to go about it. I didn't want to tear anything up figuring out how to....lol If someone could let me know how to remove them so I could start there that would be great. Thanks

These are usually riveted on. I've removed them before and then bolted them back on.

Check out my thread at "Another G1 Rebuild" in lifted carts section. I replaced both sides with little trouble. PM me if you need more information and include a phone number and best time to call.

I just wanted to remove them, and clean them up. Then I was going to spray them with rhino liner.... I guess I can just clean them up on the cart, and tape everything off to spray them. What did you do drill out the rivets, and then use bolts to put them back on? Thanks for the info though guys!
