Default more speed

Hello I just purchased a Yamaha g22 last week. Is their any way to get more speed without harming the motor. I plan on getting a six inch lift and 22" tires also.

Call Don Plowman. He's the man when it comes to Yamaha's! He's a site sponsor. Great guy, knows his stuff. You'll spend a little cash, but it'll run like a raped ape! The "Hot Setup" says you'll get 14hp out of your cart? $430 and it's easy mods. Your torque and acceleration will drastically improve.

Have you turned the governor nut all the way in? That will help.

I've turned the one on the axle two whole turns. I didn't mess with the one on the carburetor. I did notice a 1 mph increase. Should I have turned the nut all the way.
