Default Led turn signal question

If you are putting led turn signals on a cart do you have to put one of those resisters on each light?

Either that or get a flasher unit "for" LED's. NAPA has them

If the flasher unit is a two wire, yes.
If the flasher is a three wire then generally not, the three wire units do not check the current traveling to the lights.

I put signals on a utv with leds, found one of the led relays it works fine. I had to as the signal switch was only for 2 wire or something, but relay was not that much. Took a while to get here from China though (ebay), I guess nobody in the US can make or stock them unless they charge double.

To use a 3 wire relay you just add a ground wire as the third legs. But I have not done this for far longer than LEDs have been on the market.
We used to do this to cure rapid blinking when towing trailers long time ago.
