ezgo proper gas oil mixture ratio
My son has an ezgo golf cart but does not know what the correct oil fuel ratio is, and does not know the right kind of oil or gas?

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!! |

If the governor is unhooked I would run it at 100:1. That's what I run.

BTW 128:1 makes your life easy as it is 1 ounce of oil to 1 gallon of gasoline. It is not recommended to pour oil into the gas tank as it will not mix, you should add the oil to a gas can and shake it up to mix the solution.

When I had my 2 stroke I ran 50:1 with no govenor. Never went through plugs and it protects the motor alot more on wide open long stretches.
