![]() I am working on a friends 2009 Stealth 4X4, trying to get the front axle to engage. The cart is a 48 volt system with 8 six volt batteries. The Positive (+) fused lead for the front axle solenoid is disconnected. The negative lead is connected to the (-) Negative terminal of the seventh battery in the series. There have been several previous owners and I have no idea what wiring they might have attempted. Does anyone know what voltage should be applied to the front axle solenoid.

![]() Hi Bob, if your neg. is on the 7th battery put your pos. on the 8th to get the 12 volts required to activate the engagement solenoid in the front gearbox. Some people switch to 2 other batteries from time to time so as not to be pulling off the same 2 batteries all the time. Or you could install a 48v to 12v voltage reducer and eliminate that problem.
