![]() Stop - the rattle is actually the contacts making and breaking the solenoid high amperage connection hundreds of times a minute because your voltage is too low to hold the magnetic field in.

![]() Connect black test lead to main negative on the battery pack and red lead to the battery side of the solenoid (at large post) Then try to go and see how far the pack drops.
You either have a battery problem or a solenoid activation circuit problem. |

![]() Look for a bad connection in the high amperage cables.... or the low amp activation circuit

![]() Is the low amp activation circuit the black thing that is connected to both posts on the solenoid?

![]() Nope, that would be the resistor.. You need to put your meter on the two small posts on the solenoid and see what that voltage is when the key is on, in F and the pedal pressed.

![]() It read 2.14 I checked the connection from the battery to the solenoid and from the solenoid to the black box (controller?) And they both were good

![]() That should be 48 plus.. If I remember correctly, there should be a white wire with a yellow stripe plus a yellow wire on one small post and a blue wire on the other. Try the test again with the + lead of your meter on the yellow/white wire post and the - of your meter on the - main of the battery pack. Then put the - of your meter on the blue and the + on the + of the pack. See what those are.. I am thinking bad key switch..
