Reverse Beep Always present- Cart will not move F or R

First time posting on the forum, but have read many posts that have assisted in troubleshooting.
I believe my issue is a controller, but wanted to run a few things by the people here to see if i am missing anything.

I just bought the 1996 TXT EZGO, the cart appeared to have been in a barn for years ( good shape, just dusty ($300!)

So i put new batterys in, as soon as i flipped the maintenance switch the reverse alarm starts going off.. the cart will not go forward or reverse. When you hit the pedal, the solenoid clicks and the beeping goes off.

I checked the switches at the FNR switch, checked good. I ordered a new Solenoid anyway, but it checked ok. The only thing downstream that can control the buzzer is the Controller.... I am thinking the controller is shorted thinking its in F and R therefore it doesnt move anywhere.

ANyone have a simliar problem like this before?

mine is close to the first one, but my FNR is a button not switch. I am also running a cutris 1268 i believe
