Talking help programing RXV 350 AMP curtis contoller

I have a 2011 RXV with the danaher speed controller. Just ordered the Curtis 350 Amp upgrade and danaher coversion kit.

EZ750566PKG

I want to get it programmed, as I understand it, the new controller will come programmed to retarded mode. I know people don't want to give away their trade secrets, so can someone program it and send it back to me?

thanks.

it has to be installed in the cart to be programmed. There is no "trade secret" to it. You plug in the speed dongle (I believe someone on here is mailing one around for a price) and then you have freedom mode enabled. At that point you have a cart that will do ~18 MPH. to get it to 19.5, you simply plug in the handheld programmer and tweak the settings. No magic, just having the correct tools to do the job.

If you don't have those tools, take it to your local dealer and have them do the upgrades. Most will charge between $100 and $200. I personally do them locally for $100.

I've got my new 350 Amp speed controller on the way. . . trying to decide between the 13.69:1 gear change or the 10.5:1 gear change. The cart is 48 volts with wheel + tire of 22", not lifted. I only drive the cart on paved roads but I do live on a hill. Thoughts?

Certainly don't want to highjack this thread but I also have a stock 2011 RXV in the shop having a 350amp Curtis controller being put in. Needed a new one & figured I'd upgrade. What options do I have to have them program? Suggestions?
I pretty much ride on flat areas, campgrounds & such.

If it doesnt have freedom enabled I'd say the 'coastal golf' setting (which is what freedom is sans the extra 5mph) It has little to no regen from what I understand.

Spend the money and have them unlock freedom. If you ever decide to sell it, it is better to have it than not.
