Software Alert for Alltrax XCT

Software version 3.2 is available for download from Alltrax site. So far I've seen one major improvement with a new torque curve. I'm sure there's more.

I found that if I set the both software sliders for regen current to 0% the rollaway alarm goes off when I try to set "Auto Throttle Cal". Set them to 10% and everything is ok.

I found there are online updates for all of the controllers sold to date. Plug in when your laptop is on online for auto update prompts to for your program software and your control. Say yes to every update.

... especially if it's been a couple of months. New field maps are improving performance and lowering temps.

I reported my Precedent stock motor running stronger on Unimap1.
Uni-map 1 was just one of many new maps that can be used with virtually any motor safely as the name implies.

Every CC with XCT control and stock motor is encouraged to update the field map. Replace map IQ_V3 with Uni-map1.

Every one who drives in soft or hilly terrain is encouraged to update the torque map.

Does anybody know what the OS requirements are to run the software? The only computers I have are Macs. I don't really want to buy a Windows machine just for the Alltrax utility. I'm hoping it will run on an old clunker of a laptop that I can probably get for free just by asking around.

On this page http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_XCT.html it says Win 8 and Win 10. I know it works on win 10. Haven't tried anything else. I have Macs also but keep a windows laptop around for stuff like this.

The Alltrax software is windows based because, yup - 95% of the worlds programs are also windows based
