Ezgo PDS won't move, solenoid not engaging.

I've checked all the voltages on the wire diagram and have good readings on everything. I've Checked ITS and Pedal switch and both give good readings. The only thing I've noticed is the blue wire on the solenoid that is supposed to ground out when pedal is pressed is not, it's staying at full battery pack voltage on all post of solenoid. Reed switch reads battery pack voltage at all times, is this correct? When I just the blue wire post on the solenoid to the neg battery it clicks. Could this be my controller? I'm stumped. Thanks!

I believe this wire will show pack voltage + when not active and then pack voltage - when the pedal is depressed. An easy test is to disconnect the wire at the solenoid and run a test wire from the solenoid terminal to the battery main -. If the cart runs this way you have found the controller fault.

Thanks, I've done that test and the solenoid clicks but cart still doesn't move.

Then test the throttle signal and the controller output.

I've done that and the ITS is reading like it says it should, the solenoid is still not engaging. That controller test doesn't really say much unless your solenoid is engaging. Might just buy a new controller and try that I guess. I can't think of anything else that would cause that.

Try this; remove the blue or black small wire to the solenoid and replace it with a jump wire to the battery pack min negative..... if the cart runs the controller has failed in the solenoid activation function. You can get a new controller or you can run with the jump wire fixed permanently in place.
