Need engine for 1990 ez go marathon

Looking to buy engine for 1990 ez go marathon, old engine is no good

not for real sure (not a mechanic by no means) have metal all in the engine and the piston has a chunck of metal missing from it, so I am guessing total engine failure. I am going to have a buddy look at it and see about rebuilding it. I figured I could at least start to see how much they are.

I 've read on here that it's about $400 to $500 to rebuild it if your block is good --

A 1990 is a 2 stroke is it not,if so you would loose reverse with that engine.

yes it is a 2 stroke and I want to have reverse for sure, it is a robin 244cc I think

If it is rebuildable,check with the site sponsors and I'm sure they can fix you up with the parts you need to do the job with
